Bree – who hasn’t heard the name before? This legendary German brand is known worldwide. A favourite among practical-minded minimalists, Bree impresses with its clean design language and functional shapes. The range includes bags, backpacks, travel luggage and wallets. The women’s collection features shoulder bags, handbags, clutches, hobos and belt bags. For men, the assortment includes messenger bags, roll-top backpacks and briefcases. Leather bags and backpacks

Classically elegant Bree bags are mostly made from natural cowhide leather. With their minimalist design, they impress with timeless aesthetics. Bree leather bags are premium companions for any occasion. The label offers not only women’s bags but also messenger bags, laptop bags and backpacks in top-tier quality. One of the most popular lines is the “Stockholm” series. Inspired by modern Scandinavian design, these feminine-leaning bags and backpacks stand out for their sleek shapes and subtle colour palettes. The Bree Punch series

This unisex line was added to the German heritage brand’s range in 1996. It includes bags, backpacks and weekenders made of durable, double-coated tarpaulin material. Highlights of the Bree Punch series include roll-top backpacks with flexible wrap closures and breathable back panels. Messenger bags with stabilising cross-straps—perfect for cycling—are also popular. The Punch Casual series features bags and backpacks made of coated cotton, including briefcases with textile trolley sleeves and adjustable shoulder straps with padding. Bree weekenders from the Punch series score with compression straps and two reinforced carry handles.

The history of Bree

The company was founded in 1970 under the name Bree Collection by Wolf Peter Bree and his wife Renate in Isernhagen, Lower Saxony. From the start, the founders focused on practical bags made of natural leather. Over time, Bree bags have become synonymous with understated elegance. Nevertheless, they remain, above all, practical everyday items. The brand has received more design awards than any other in the world. Among the accolades are the iF Product Design Award, the German Shoe and Leather Goods Award, and the ILM Award. In 2018, the company relocated to Hamburg. As part of its repositioning, Bree has featured a sleeker brand logo and launched new, diverse product lines since 2019. Sustainability has become increasingly important. Bree bags have always been known for their durability, and most leather models are made from sustainably tanned hides. The latest collections take things further, featuring Bree backpacks made from recycled PET material.
